writing skills. The program helps the students organize their ideas from start to finish. The teacher
then explains that the students start with a brainstorming session and then can choose different
views, like outline, to proceed with the writing of the essay.

This was a culminating activity where the students made public service announcements. The students
were able to work in pairs and use either the small flip cameras or the large camera to video the public
service announcement. The students did everything from writing the public service announcement to
handling the cameras and videoing the each other.
